Census Bureau: More men than women in Valentine in 2019

Of the 2,760 people living in Valentine in 2019, 48.7 percent (1,345) were women and 51.3 percent (1,415) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Sandhills Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 769-to-732. In the 65 and over age range, there were 260 females and 242 males.
