Ord, Nebraska recently issued the following announcement on March 8.
Today our community was visited by The Scott Scholar Program from Hastings College. This group of students made stops at Scratchtown Brewing Company, Valley County Health System, Central Community College- Ord Center, the Ord Area Chamber, Loup Valley Childhood Initiative and Zangger Popcorn. Local leaders and business owners shared their stories on rural entrepreneurship, community engagement and partnerships, and most importantly, why they choose to call Valley County home. Hopefully, with help from these empowering presentations, there were some future Valley County residents in attendance!
