Hilltop Gardens/Buller DesignScapes

• Learn helpful tips to incorporate edible plants into your patio pots and landscape

• Some lucky participants will be chosen randomly to create their own edible patio containers

Session Two 6:15 - 7:00

All About Succulent | Elyria Gardens

• Learn the “do’s and don’ts” of keeping

succulents alive and thriving

• Enjoy a demonstration on how to assemble a succulent garden

Session Three 7:15 - 8:00

Saving Water in the Garden

Ben Newton, Environmental Sustainability Director at CCC

• Spring organic prep of soil to save water

• Native plants, companion plantings, and garden orientation

5:15 - 6:15 or 6:45 - 7:45

Trees and Me: Project Learning Tree

Early Childhood Educator Workshop

Jack Hilgert, Nebraska Forest Services

• Participants will be able to use the curricula provided to guide children in outdoor and environmental experiences

• Participants will gain a better understanding of the importance of children spending time outside

**This session is qualified for professional development hours. Participants must register in advance due to limited seating.
