Attention Boyd County Residents:
Recently, we have received a raise in criminal activity in our area - specifically thefts. There have been several reports of catalytic converters stolen from vehicles, even in town.
You can help us crack down on petty thefts by following these few easy steps:
-Be vigilant and make sure you lock all belongings including outbuildings and vehicles
- Remove keys from all vehicles (Yes even in our small community)
- Report any missing or damaged items ASAP
- Be on the lookout of suspicious activity and report it right away
You can make a report to the Sheriff's Office by calling 402-775-2331 or 911 (for emergencies) or stop by the office and chat with us about any concerns you have! Your help and cooperation is vital for us being able to solve these types of crimes and keep our community safe!
