The Valley County Sheriff's Office participated in the “Click it or Ticket” enforcement campaign that ran from May 23rd through June 5th, 2022. During this time, Deputies worked a total of 56 hours of overtime in addition to their regular scheduled shifts. Thanks to a $2,000.00 grant provided by the Nebraska Department of Highway Safety.
During this time, Deputies made a total of 64 traffic stops. Deputies issued citations for the following offenses: 6 Speeding, 1 reckless driving, 2 Driving under the Influence, 1 open container, and 2 for no seat belts. Thank you to the Nebraska Department of Highway Safety for allowing Valley County Sheriff’s Office this grant for extra deputies to be on patrol to keep our communities safe.
