“This is a state asset. So we need to maintain it so we can get the best bang for our buck out of it,” said Julie Harris of Bike Walk Nebraska, one of the groups forming the Cowboy Trail Coalition.
More bicycle tourism translates into more spending in the towns along the Cowboy Trail, towns including Neligh, O’Neill, Atkinson, Bassett, Ainsworth and Valentine.
