Marian Lammers of Ord, Neb., a volunteer for Valley County Health System (VCHS) Hospice, was honored as an exemplary volunteer at the annual Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association (NHPCA) banquet in Lincoln, Neb. Each year, NHPCA recognizes volunteers who provided outstanding volunteer services during the previous year at a Nebraska hospice agency.
“Marian is always willing to help, she has donated many hours of her time,” VCHS Hospice Volunteer Coordinator Jennifer Zach said. “Marian takes the time to provide care and support to patients and families during the patient’s final days. Her compassion is invaluable to both the patients and our program.”
Marian is one of dozens of VCHS Hospice volunteers who have donated countless hours to volunteering with the Hospice program.
