New Masking Mandate for Brown County Hospital, Effective October 5th, 2022.

Effective October 5, 2022 Brown County Hospital and Ainsworth Family Clinic in conjunction with the required CDC guidelines has changed their masking requirements

Masking Required ONLY if: *You are waiting for results of a COVID-19 test

*You have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days

*You have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 10 days

AND

**If you are experiencing ANY of these symptoms, you will also be required to wear a mask to protect the staff and others around you while you are on BCH/AFC/Specialty Clinic campus:

Shortness of breath, fever, cough, NEW fatigue or muscle pain, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, headache, congestion, or runny nose

A green or red dot will be placed on every entrance to let staff and public know if masking will be required following Brown County's transmission rate. We will not require masking as long as our county Transmission Level is not deemed "HIGH" by the CDC.
