Keith County Area Development has been fully engaged in activity this October!
Last Wednesday, Lt. Governor Mike Foley and his wife Susan came to Ogallala and were special guests at the KCAD 2021-2022 Annual Meeting. Foley shared his insight on economic development and the opportunities he sees for rural Nebraska.
Mary Wilson, Executive Director of KCAD, provided an update on all of the positive growth projects that are completed and in progress.
Deb Schilz was elected as a new board member for KCAD. We are grateful to have Deb on board (no pun intended) Hehe!
Additionally, on Oct. 19th, KCAD Board Members, Ex-Officio Members, and staff took part in a Strategic Planning session with Greta Leach from Mission Matters. It was a great day spent getting to the heart of KCAD's purpose for our community.
Whew! We have been BUSY! We are grateful for any and all opportunities that come to our door that make us faster and stronger as an organization and community!
