In celebration of Gianna Slaymaker's birthday on Feb. 4, "Cocoa for a Cause" will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. at the Atkinson Knights of Columbus Hall. This will be a freewill offering with funds going to fellow cancer fighter Misty Carey from Atkinson. Misty is a nurse at West Holt Medical Services where she has spent her life caring for others, so help us return the love and care! Misty was diagnosed with colon cancer in the Fall of 2022. She will have 4 months of chemo, radiation, and then surgery. She has a long road ahead of her and your support, and most importantly prayers, is greatly appreciated. Hope to see you there. Event organized by the Brad and Heather Slaymaker family.
