2021 has 1.5% of Boyd County residents unemployed

Boyd County recorded an unemployment rate of 1.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 14 people out of the 1,812 living in Boyd County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Boyd County has decreased compared to the 1.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Boyd County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.3%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
